Travel in city
Cappadocia is like a Indian village, so don't think of public transport at all. You need a good car 🚗 or scooter 🛵 . Taxies are there, but you will need it more, and obviously you will not do it.
Suggestion:
- Book a scooter like activa if you are young people. Because you'll get Indian feel.
- Book a car if you all want to travel together or having a baby with stroller.

Hot air balloon
book in advance and try it on the very first day because it might be shifted to next day because of bad weather. You have to get up very early at 3 am.
View point

Both Airports are on equally away from city and it ll take 60 mins to reach your hotel.
Stay
You can stay in Sultan-Ahmed or in Galata region/area because they are very near to all attractions and it ll make your travel with public transport easy.
Hint:
- City center areas are very busy and with small streets so think about that if you have a car.
- Also there are ups and downs like a hill so ask airbnb before and check location before you buy.
Travel in city
Get Istanbul card (NOT istanbul city card with attractions) is the cheapest one.
Where to buy:
You can buy it on most tram and metro stops. It's a machine like an ATM. Card alone costs around 130 TL and on top you have to top up for your rides. There are many YouTube videos on this topic.
How to use:
its a plastic card which you can top up and will be used like pay as you use. on each stop u have barriers to scan the card like indian metros. tap it and go. each tap will cost you 27 TL. you can tap multiple times for multiple people from a single card. so no need to buy card per person.

Tips:
- Esim: buy esim from trip.com for only data. you do not need calling because most of the providers work with whatsapp same as in india
- Stay: plan more days for capadocia and not istanbul because for istanbul only 2 days are enough but for capadocia 3 days are less. You will definitely tell me why !!
- Cash: you can live with mastercard without any cash. Almost all accepts Euro in cash in case if they need cash
- Bargain: try to bargain whenever you buy anything. Same like india, they take double price as soon as they see foreigners.
